We arrived in Porto but our bags did not. Jo’l had no problems and arrived on another flight bags in tow. Carrie and I currently have only what we wore on the plane and our passports. At this time none of the airlines we took have a record of the backpacks that we so carefully prepared for this journey over the last several months, and we have to prepare for the idea that they may not arrive at all. It’s 10:30 in Porto and we’ve been up for 42 hours on very little sleep from Thursday night, so a real blog and update will come later.
In the meantime enjoy a view of the empty Porto baggage claim area where we spent hours today trying to sort all of this out.
